2017 budget and qualification updates
In the 2016 Autumn Statement the Chancellor announced that, following the 2017 Spring Budget, Budgets will be delivered in the Autumn rather than in March or April of each year.
To ensure that the CII continues to offer the most up-to-date assessments and learning materials, we have reviewed how this change impacts the timing of our qualifications updating process.
We can confirm that, despite the reduced notification period, we shall not be making any changes to our testing periods or the timing of when updated learning materials will be available.
Updated study materials reflecting current tax year information (announced in the previous Autumn) will continue to be available in July each year to support assessment - based on the updated materials - from 1 September year.
